Modern Cloakroom Case Study | Leeds | West Yorkshire

Problem:

Ms Douglas wanted to make better use of her large cloakroom, which consisted of a toilet and basin. She wanted to future proof her home by converting her cloakroom into an easy access shower room. She also required a modern maintenance free design update with the aim to conceal pipework on show and better store bathroom amenities.

Solution:

Following a referral from a friend, Ms Douglas got in touch. More Bathrooms Senior Designer Andy visited Ms Douglas Leeds based home to complete a design appointment. Upon discussing with Ms Douglas her cloakroom wants and needs he created a design that provided space for installation of a quadrant shower room enclosure whilst still keeping the toilet and basin within the room.

Andy formed a modern shower room design consisting of a full grey tiled shower and floor and half tiled room. A large mirror was added to help bounce light around the room. A vanity basin unit was also installed to create additional storage space.

Following the visit, Ms Douglas visited our Leeds bathroom showroom to choose sanitaryware and finishing touches with the assistance of Andy.

Outcome:

Ms Douglas’ cloakroom was transformed into a contemporary easy access shower roomwith grey tiling and additional storage.

The installation of a curved shower design created the illusion of additional room, whilst helping to future proof Ms Douglas home creating an additional downstairs showering space. A new toilet and basin was installed whilst previous pipe work was neatened. Additional bathroom storage was installed adding to the modern minimal design.
