An existing 4-piece bathroom that consisted of a bath, shower enclosure, basin and WC was in need of a modern update with a view to futureproofing the renovation while looking to provide a warmer look and feel.
Having seen our ad in the On Your Doorstep magazine Mrs Legge visited our Harrogate Bathroom Showroom with a view to gaining a better understanding of available products and overall bathroom design
With a good idea of what she wanted to achieve, Mrs Legge was greeted by Showroom Demonstrator, Leanne, who provided expert help and advise with regards to possible solutions. Following this detailed discussion, Mrs Legge decided to book a free design appointment and take her project to the next stage.
Visited by Senior Designer, Angela, the pair spent a good while reconfirming what had been discussed in the showroom, with Angela also surveying the existing space and proposing a more precise design and specification of works which would meet Mrs Legge’s requirements while making the best use of the available space.
With a priority of future proofing the renovation, Angela suggested removing the existing bath and separate shower and replacing these with a single easy access shower solution in the form of a large walk-in shower.
Further enhancing the stylish and accessible design Angela also recommended a comfort height WC and wall hung basin, which would be complimented by a separate bidet. Replacing the existing bathroom heating solution with a large, heated towel warmer, while suggesting a grey colour scheme for the walls and bathroom flooring provided the additional warmth Mrs Legge required.
Delighted with the suggestions and preliminary design, a second visit to our Harrogate Bathroom Showroom was required, to allow Angela to present the detailed quotation and CAD visuals, while helping Mrs Legge choose her final bathroom finishing touches.
As part of our full bathroom design and fitted bathroom service, the existing suite was ripped out and replaced with a stunning easy access shower solution.
The newly renovated shower room was meticulously installed by our multi-skilled fit Amarjit, who along with fitting the large walk-in shower with modern glass flipper screen, also installed the comfort height WC, wall-hung vanity basin and separate bidet.
Finishing the room off, Amarjit installed wall boards in the shower area, offering a maintenance free flush finish, with the rest of the walls finished with bathroom tiles in a half-tiled design.
An existing 4-piece bathroom that was cold and becoming difficult to use was replaced with an easy access shower solution and complimented with modern bathroom finishing touches.

The project was to renew an existing bathroom removing the bath and installing a walk-in shower.
The design is in keeping with the style of the house [early Victorian Vicarage] and our requirements and suggestions were incorporated into the design where appropriate.
The work was carried out professionally and with minimal disruption. All the waste material was removed as the project proceeded.

We lived with an outdated 1920’s bathroom for 20 years because we knew what a difficult job it would be to put a new one in (lead pipes, cast iron bath and tiles concreted on to name just a few of the challenges).
