Renovation Brief:
Mr. and Mrs. Parker found More Bathrooms online and visited our Leeds showroom on a weekend in search of bathroom inspiration and expert advice before booking a free design appointment.
Their existing bathroom featured a four-piece suite comprising a bath, a separate quadrant shower enclosure, a WC, and a basin. However, the room's dark aesthetic—fully tiled in black with white grouting—was beginning to feel outdated.
Keen to modernise their space while enhancing its functionality, the Parkers sought a refreshed four-piece suite concept that incorporated a low-level shower while retaining a bath for family use.
They envisioned a striking yet balanced bathroom design that maintained the dark aesthetic but in a more refined and contemporary manner. Open to guidance, they entrusted our expert design team to create the best layout and design, while offering industry knowledge on product selections.
Bathroom Design:
Under the expertise of our Senior Designer, Garry, we developed a concept that retained the essence of the Parkers' preferred aesthetic while elevating it with modern, impactful features. The transformation balanced dark and light elements, creating a sophisticated space with a luxurious feel.
A large, low-level walk-in shower with a glass screen was introduced, allowing for the repositioning of a stunning freestanding bath. To enhance functionality and storage, a run of light grey fitted furniture was incorporated, seamlessly housing a wall-hung WC and an integrated basin.
The introduction of a white suite contrasted beautifully with the darker tones, while gold fixtures—including taps, shower fittings, and a towel radiator—added warmth and a touch of opulence.
The bathroom was fully tiled, with large dark grey wall tiles complemented by contrasting light grey and marble-effect floor tiles. This pairing created depth and balance within the space.
A large, illuminated mirror was positioned strategically to enhance the lighting, ensuring a bright and welcoming ambience despite the room's bold aesthetic.
Bathroom Installation:
Following the design process, our Installations Surveyor, Joe, carried out a detailed survey to ensure precise measurements and specifications. The meticulous planning set the stage for a seamless installation process.
Our Multi-Skilled Fitter, Darren, took on the installation with exceptional attention to detail. He expertly navigated the challenges such an extensive renovation poses, ensuring a flawless finish. His craftsmanship, combined with the carefully curated design and product choices, resulted in a space that embodied functional luxury with a hotel-inspired feel.
