Family Bathroom Case Study | Keighley | West Yorkshire

Problem:

Upon moving into a new home, Mr & Mrs Kitson wanted to bring their outdated 50’s style bathroom into the modern day with the design and installation of a contemporary family friendly suite.

Their current three-piece suite consisted of a matching pink in bath shower, basin and WC. They hoped to install a separate showering area to go alongside their bath whilst incorporating additional storage for bathroom amenities.

Solution:

Upon visiting our Harrogate bathroom showroom Mr & Mrs Kitson booked a free design appointment. This led to a home visit from More Bathrooms Senior Designer Simon. He created a modern bathroom design that incorporated space for a shower and bath, by removing an unused airing cupboard.

Mr & Mrs Kitson revisited our Harrogate bathroom showroom to view and decide on their sanitaryware choices and finishing touches alongside Simon’s assistance.

Sanitaryware choices included a large contemporary wet floor shower, a rectangular bath, closed coupled toilet, large vanity basin unit and open ended towel rail.

Additional storage for the Mr & Mrs Kitson’s bathroom amenities was created in the form of a under basin cabinet, a large wall mounted mirrored cabinet and a multi-use bespoke corian bench that doubled up as a shelf was built into the wet floor shower.

Outcome:

Working closely with Mr & Mrs Kitson Simon created a contemporary 4-piece bathroom that featured a large wet floor shower.

A modern grayscale colour scheme was incorporated with large grey wall and floor tiling and white and grey sanitaryware.

Mr & Mrs Kitson’s bathroom was now spacious with enough bathroom storage for the whole family.
