Luxury En-Suite Case Study | Huddersfield |West Yorkshire

Published: 14 December 2020

Problem:

Mr & Mrs Stead’s traditional 3-piece en-suite bathroom consisted of a free standing bath, basin and high rise cistern WC. Wanting to update their traditional suite, turning it into a luxurious hotel chic design, they wanted to maintain the Victorian style that flowed through the house while converting the en-suite bathroom into a shower room.

Design Solution:

Wanting to gather further information on traditional bathrooms Mr & Mrs Stead booked a free design appointment online for an experienced More Bathroom designer to visit their home and view their current suite.

Mr & Mrs Stead were visited by More Bathrooms Senior Designer Julie who discussed with them their en-suite wants and needs, en-suite design ideas and provided them with a provisional quote dependent to their bathroom finishing touches choices.

Taking onboard Mr & Mrs Stead’s requirements and using her en-suite design knowledge Julie created a spacious walk in shower design, with traditional sanitary ware and luxurious finishes.

The design tied in hotel chic and traditional bathroom elements by incorporating a colour scheme consisting of elephants breath, light greys and white alongside nickel brassware.

Julie then invited Mr & Mrs Stead back to our Harrogate bathroom showroom to present them with a visual CAD of their new spacious en-suite design and assist them in selecting their final choices.

Luxury En-suite Installation:

Mr & Mrs Stead’s new en-suite that was installed by multi-skilled fitter, Sam, consisted of a spacious walk in shower with bespoke built in Corian bench, back to wall WC and basin.

Large grey ceramic bathroom tiles were installed in the shower area, floor and half height wall alongside grey and white patterned granite on the main shower wall, Corian bench and the sink area adding to the luxurious feel of the suite.

Savvy bathroom Storage furniture included modern shower wall niches with built in lights and a vanity basin unit allowing Mr & Mrs Stead to store their bathrooms amenities.

Traditional finishing touches included nickel bathroom brassware that was fitted throughout the suite including the shower head, taps, hanging lights and radiator towel frame. A large mirror was also fit making the suite feel more spacious by bouncing light around the room.

Outcome:

A traditional en-suite with free standing bath was transformed into a spacious en-suite with a large built in walk-in shower with both traditional and luxurious finishing touches.

What Mr & Mrs Stead said about More Bathrooms:

Absolutely love our new en-suite bathroom. The whole team worked so hard from start to finish in bringing our vision to life! Thank you so much guys!
