Problem:
Ms Dockerty’s dated and sparse 3-piece bathroom consisted of a bath, basin and WC.
Wanting to add the option of enjoying a shower or long soak Ms Dockerty hoped to install a large walk-in shower giving the space a luxurious update.
Design Solution:
Upon visiting the More Bathrooms website to gather further information on walk-in showers Ms Dockerty booked a free design appointment online for a More Bathrooms Senior Designer to view her bathroom, provide further design advice and create a provisional quote dependant to her final fixtures and fitting choices.
Ms Dockerty was visited by Senior Designer Garry who further discussed her wants and needs and luxury bathroom design options available in regard to creating a 4-piece bathroom.
Open to the design ideas, Garry created a luxurious bathroom design and invited Ms Dockerty to our Harrogate Bathroom showroom to present her with a detailed CAD design allowing her to envision her new bathroom. Garry also assisted Ms Dockerty in choosing her final fixtures and fittings.
Luxury Bathroom Installation:
A spacious walk-in shower and enclosed bath, back to wall toilet and basin was installed by More Bathrooms Multi-skilled fitter Mark.
A new layout was created within the room, which included moving the toilet to make better use of the large available space.
Bathroom storage furniture included a large vanity basin unit, a wall niche above the bath allowing Mrs Dockerty to easily access her bathroom amenities and an airing cupboard to cover her existing boiler whilst creating plenty of storage space.
Bathroom Finishing touches included luxurious large grey natural stone finish bathroom tiles that covered both the floor and walls. Alongside a large LED Mirror and tall heated tower rail to keep Ms Dockerty’s towel warm and toasty whilst she bathes.
Ms Dockerty also chose to install a bespoke Corian bench within shower area adding to the luxurious design.
Outcome:
A dated and sparse bathroom was transformed into a spacious and luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower and additional storage.

The installer Mark did an excellent job. He kept me informed of progress, discussed any potential issues or decisions well in advance so I had time to consider. I trusted him to give me honest opinions and suggestions. He takes real pride in his work and I am delighted with the final product.
Joe was efficient, responding to any of my queries or changes promptly and politely. Garry did a great job getting me to make numerous decisions (not one of my strengths) about the design and style of the bathroom in just two sessions. I had been putting off having my bathroom done for 16 years because of the potential stress and upheaval, but I am really glad I picked Passmore's as it took a lot of stress out of the process.
