Problem

A couple in North Leeds had an en-suite shower room, that had become worn, with many features in need of a refresh.

They were deeply interested in finding a company in Yorkshire that could provide them with a new en-suite by taking away the responsibility of them managing the project, and consequently offering a full design and fit service.

Solution

Whilst on the internet they took an interest in our More Bathrooms brand, after seeing our full design and fit service and visited our illustrious Harrogate Bathroom showroom, with a stunning range of bath, kitchen, bedroom, and accessible bath displays.

After glancing through a range of our bathroom design displays and catching potential ideas. A member of our demonstrator team then informed them in detail of our full project-managed service, and what the process involves.

Excited by the information they received, that being it was the exact service the couple were looking for, they proceeded to book a free design appointment

Experienced Designer Andy visited the couple to discuss the reasons for refurbishing their en-suite, what they were expecting as the outcome of the project, and if they had early potential design ideas.

Before they got into an in-depth conversation, Andy kicked off the process by taking measurements and pictures of the current en-suite layout.

The triad then sat down for a deeper conversation. They indicated that what initially drew them to More Bathrooms the most was our ability to fully manage the entire project, leaving clients with peace of mind.

Listening carefully, the couple conveyed to Andy, that there were multiple features in the en-suite that needed to be revised and had led them to the decision of needing a full refurbishment. Conscious of the limited space they wanted advice on how to best utilise it while incorporating modern fixtures and fittings.

Keen to rely on experienced designer Andy’s advice, they all agreed with the idea of a brand-new concept, featuring a new square shower enclosure, a wall-mounted basin, and a new wall-hung WC. The new concept also showed a mirror, and to complete the redesign, new tiling and flooring was reflected throughout.

Viewing the suggested design, the couple were delighted with the concept and the features of the en-suite and were also provided with a provisional quote for the works.

Andy then invited the couple back to our Harrogate Bathroom Showroom, for a second appointment. At the second appointment, he presented the couple with detailed CAD visuals to help them envision how the real-life finished en-suite would look when refurbished.

Delighted with the presentation, Andy then guided them around the showroom to pick out the final bathroom finishing touches and once they had made their choices, they then were more than happy to place an order with us.

Andy’s reasoning behind – ‘Listening to the couple’s ideas they wanted a complete refurbishment of the room including new features. I suggested a modern contemporary en-suite concept.

Modern En-suite Shower Room Refurbishment | Leeds | More Bathrooms

Before the start of the en-suite shower refurbishment, the couple were introduced to Joe our installations surveyor, who would liaise with Martin our fitter throughout the project.

Delivering the couple with a peace of mind and full design and fit service Martin stripped out their existing design and refurbished it into a wonderful modern en-suite shower room.

Just as the concept Andy presented Martin fit a new modern modular bathroom storage feature of a wall-mounted vanity basin. Above the basin a cool circular LED mirror was fit on the wall. Keeping the wall-hung concept consistent a wall-hung comfortable WC was fit, with porcelain tiling finish.

Next to the fitted vanity basin, a bespoke square shower enclosure with a sliding door finish was installed as per the design. To match the opposite wall, white porcelain tiles were fit enhancing the en-suite with more personality. The newly fitted tiles and basin were complimented with wood effect laminate flooring to conclude the en-suite shower refurbishment.
