Wanting to make the most of the available space, while embracing the rooms characteristics and charms the couple had thought long and hard about whether the concept of a bath was wanted, needed and desired within the refurbishment or whether a bath to shower room conversion would better met their requirements.

Occupying an old 1840’s cottage that only housed one family bathroom it was decided that, following a busy festive period whereby friends & family had to queue for the toilet, a secondary wash room facility was required to ease the strain on a busy social household while adding value to the home.

Due to the overall layout of the room not much could be done in terms of relocating key fixtures and fittings in order to make the most of the available space.
With that in mind the decision was made to conduct a relatively simply rip out & re fit with significant concentration to be given to the overall design, product choices & finishing touches, in order to lift the room, making it lighter, brighter and airy.

Above all the aim of the refurbishment was to modernise and breathe life / fresh air into a tired design. A pretty straight forward rip out & refit due to the fixture preferences & available space meant colour choice and the selection of finishing touches would be key to ensuring a stand out design.
